New Website Transition

Starting early February, The Oxherd Boy will be migrating to a new platform for its website. Here are some key changes to note:

1. Improved Search

I'm taking time to pare down and categorize the comics so that they can be more easily searched. You'll be able to type a certain topic, like "hope" into the search bar and can browse through all the comics and pages on the site that touch on the topic.

2. Explore by Theme

You can also browse comics according to pre-organized collections based on theme, character, and eventually by book.

3. Wider Availability of Prints

I've received requests for prints of certain comics, but managing a shop is not my strong suit. On the new website, I'll be able to provide an option to order a print directly from the comic itself. While this set up will be an ongoing update, I hope to have all possible prints ready by summer.

4. New Subscription Format

Since I won't be able to migrate existing paid subscriptions to the new platform, we're going to start over fresh. I'm simplify giving to The Oxherd Boy with a single option to support me as a patron for a $5/month. You'll be able to enjoy a 10% discount if you pay for a full year up front as well. Other options include a Tip Jar option of a one-time $1 tip or a $1/month subscription.

5. Account Management

While you will have to create a new account on the platform, you can easily sign in using existing social accounts to avoid remembering another password. Manage your account settings, subscriptions, addresses, and purchases by clicking on "My Account" at the bottom menu any time.

Those are the highlights so far. I'm most excited for the improved search functionality, so that the comics become more accessible for readers, whether long-time fans or new visitors.
