#152: “Attention is the rarest...”

There is a modern, applied Buddhist saying on mindfulness that I return to time and again: To give our undivided attention is to recognize that there is no moment -- future, past, or imagined -- more worthy of our presence than the one we're experiencing right now.
If I think about modern life, I ask myself what do I give the majority of my full and undivided attention these days? Is it my work? Is it my loved ones? Is it the dishes? I admit that it isn't always that way.
